Joining us at Highfields
Our commitment at Highfields is to provide independent education of the highest standard with the resources available to us whilst ensuring the viability and long-term stability of school. We are a charity and all of our income is used for the benefit of our pupils.
All termly fees are payable in advance at the start of each term or can be paid in twelve monthly instalments, commencing 1st July, by prior agreement at no additional charge. We also offer sibling discounts and a 5% discount for families where either parent is a serving member of HM Forces.
Main school fees include:
- Active Enrichment – activities such as swimming (chargeable in Reception year), archery, gymnastics, climbing, golf and sailing.
- Group Speech and Drama tuition.
- Daily cooked lunches, made fresh onsite by our dedicated Kitchen Team.
- All text books and stationery.
- Accident insurance.
For Prep children, fees include travel to sports fixtures and competitive sports, as well as coaching towards entrance to their chosen senior school.
In addition, we offer individual music lessons and LAMDA examinations which are invoiced separately.

Reception: £3,820 per term or £955 per month.

Reception: £3,250 per term or £812.50 per month.
Pre-Prep (Forms 1 & 2): £3,335 per term or £833.75 per month

Nursery Fees
Our Nursery is term time only and available to children from the age of 2. Our opening times and prices offer flexible childcare options for a range of needs and schedules. We except Early Years Funding as specified by the Government (either 15 or 30 free hours) along with Tax Free childcare account.

Nursery full day (7:30am – 6:00pm): £60.25 (£21.25 with funding).
Nursery breakfast club (7:30am – 8:30am): £5.50.
Nursery school day (8:30am – 3:30pm): £45.10 (£6.10 with funding).
Nursery school morning (8:30am – 11:30am): £19.50.
Lunch (11:30am – 12:30pm): £6.10.
Nursery school afternoon (12:30pm – 3:30pm): £19.50.
Nursery extended day (3:30pm – 4:00pm): £3.10.
Nursery after school care (3:30pm – 6:00pm): £9.65.
Early years funded session – morning (08:30am – 11:30am): FREE.
Early years funded session – afternoon (12:30pm – 3:30pm): FREE.
Highfields Day Nursery offers a supportive and encouraging environment, developing children to become confident youngsters and preparing them for school via child lead learning.
Admissions Process
The first step in your Highfields journey is to book a visit or attend an Open Day. This will allow you to see our beautiful school and grounds for yourself, see our teachers in action and chat to our team about what we offer. It goes without saying that you can visit us multiple times, allowing you to come alone initially, and then bring your child for the second visit if you would prefer to do so.
Upon deciding that Highfields is the school for your child, you will then be able to reserve their place – with a £100 registration fee (£80 for a sibling). Next, we will invite your child for a ‘Desk Day’ – this is a full immersive school day, where your child will spend the day with their prospective form. This allows both Highfields and your child to get a feel for one another and ensure that Highfields is the right school for them, whilst acting as a settling in session for your child, so that their first day with us goes smoothly.
After the ‘Desk Day’, providing we feel that Highfields is the best place for your child, an offer of a school place will be made. Once you accept the offer, a £500 deposit is payable. This is fully refunded when your child leaves us at the end of Form 6. If your child is joining us part way through the school year, we will then arrange and confirm your child’s start date, and beginning of their school journey with us.
Means tested bursaries are also available and, although this is usually for existing families, please mention this to us in your initial enquiry if you think you may be eligible.
