Sharing the gift of Harvest

Following our wonderful Harvest Festival, pupils from Form 2 visited residents at the St Leonard’s Cottages on London Road this morning.  Bearing gifts of Harvest boxes packed with food and other treats, the children made their special deliveries to the delighted residents.  Each box was accompanied by a letter the children had written to their “Dear Friend”, telling them who they were and a little bit about themselves.  Many of the residents wrote back thanking the children for the gifts.

We also delivered parcels of food to residents of Bishop Alexander Court, Newark Emmaus Trust, the Framework homeless charity’s Russell House hostel and Balderton Methodist Church.
