ISI Inspection success
As a non-selective school we are extremely proud of our academic results. In our most recent ISI inspection in June 2019, the inspectors concluded that “Academic achievement is excellent”. In particular the inspection found –
- “Pupils’ attitude to learning is exceptional”; and
- “Personal development is excellent”
Senior School success
Our pupils go on to a wide range of senior schools, including some leading independent day and boarding schools as well as local grammars. Preparation for the move to senior school starts in year 3 at Highfields with 11+ teaching and Common Entrance tuition.
In recent years pupils have joined Nottingham High School, Nottingham Girls’ High School, Trent College, Stamford Endowed Schools. Oakham School, Lincoln Minster School, The Kings’ Grammar School (Grantham), Carre’s Grammar School (Sleaford), Kesteven & Grantham Girls’ School and Kesteven and Sleaford High School.
A number of pupils have gained scholarships to their chosen senior school in a range of disciplines including music, sport, art, academic and all rounder.
