On Monday 23rd April, Navigators and Form 1 visited Doddington Hall. The children were given a tour of the house, walled kitchen gardens and formal gardens. During our tour the children were delighted to spot unicorns, which are part of the family crest, we saw topiary bushes shaped like them, tapestries depicting the mythical creatures and an image on the front of a coal scuttle. They also explored the outdoor space and saw a number of plants, flowers, trees and vegetables. We will be using this inspiration to help us when planting our own gardens this coming term.
