Our school hall was the setting for this year’s Harvest Festival and school looked stunning as the corridors and walls were decorated with harvest pictures, paintings and produce! The children brought their harvest boxes in to be distributed to those in need and a procession of gifts opened the service. There was an opening reading from our newly elected Head Girl, Yasmin, and songs from both infants and juniors, as well as a prayer for harvest, poetry, instrumentals and a number of solos. Choir performed a beautiful arrangement with all of Form 6 accompanying on percussion and instruments, our new Head Boy, Jamie, read the prayers and Mr Thomson provided the closing words. We were thrilled to see so many parents, grandparents, Godparents, aunts, uncles, carers – the hall was full! This was a wonderful harvest celebration and the teachers worked really hard to bring it all together. Special thanks to Ms Cozens for her tireless work at the piano, organising, directing, encouraging and smiling throughout!
