School was filled this morning with our Grandparents and Godparents whom we invited to share in our Easter egg-stravaganza! The morning started with an egg-cellent breakfast provided by the FFH complete with hot cross buns and bacon rolls. The children enjoyed an Easter Egg treasure hunt and Easter bonnet competition and they performed some beautiful songs on the stage accompanied by Ms Cozens. Solo piano performances were given by some of our Young Musician finalists in Form 6, and the morning concluded with a special arts and crafts activity in classrooms. It was so much fun having the grannies, grandpas and Godparents in to join us in school. This is something we do every year, organised very capably by Miss Wilson.
Thank you, Miss Wilson, for your hard work in making this such a wonderful event and a BIG thank you to the FFH who provided not just the breakfast but refreshments throughout the morning including tables which were heaving with home made cakes, biscuits and chocolate nests. Delicious!
A final thank you to Mr Hemstock for spending half last night up a ladder to hang the bunting in the hall!
