We have been having so much fun in Kindergarten this week, learning all about cooks. We enjoyed making chefs’ hats as we learnt that chefs wear these when they cook. The children independently chose what colour they wanted to paint their hat and what glitter they wanted to sprinkle on.
On Wednesday we wore our chefs’ hats while we made a Victoria sponge cake. This was so yummy and the children were excellent at following the directions they were given.
We have also been developing our fine-motor skills this week by making pasta necklaces. The children concentrated extremely well when using the plastic needles to thread the wool through the pasta. We were amazed how well they completed this activity. Well done everyone!
