Form 6 Yorkshire residential – day 5 (Friday 24th June 2016)

All good things must come to an end and Form 6 finished their week in Yorkshire with a trip to the amazing Flamingo Land! Some of the rides were really scary and a lot of people thought it was better than Alton Towers. What a fantastic way to end a brilliant week!  They arrived back at school excited, tired and happy.

Thank you to Mrs Turner for driving the minibus and to Mr Turner for helping load (and unload) all the bags.  Also thank you to Mrs Martin and Mrs Smith for coming up to Yorkshire to look after us.  Most of all, a BIG thank you to our fabulous Form 6 class teacher Mrs McGivern who has thrown herself into water-filled gorges, hung off high ropes, abseiled down cliff faces, cycled round a forest and never stopped smiling and laughing throughout the whole time!  What an amazing lady!
