Form 5 arrived safely in Yorkshire this morning for their week-long residential trip when they will be staying at Cober Hill in the village of Claughton near Scarborough.
Travelling by School minibus, the children’s first visit was to the beautiful Bempton Cliffs where they enjoyed a super day bird watching. The sun shone and the puffins were on show. The children asked lots of questions and learned much about the sea birds, their habitat and environment; so much so that the rangers said they were most impressed with the depth of knowledge and show of interest from the children.
It would seem we have some budding ornithologists in our midst!
