School closure during Covid-19 lockdown
On 23rd March 2020, Highfields School started working remotely for the safety of pupils, staff and the wider community. Class teachers guided online learning using home-study packs through Class Dojo and other remote tools including Zoom, Google classrooms and Microsoft Teams.
Home-study support and additional materials were and continue to be available from the help desk at [email protected]
Highfields remained open throughout lockdown for the children of key workers.
Re-opening after lockdown
In line with government guidance, Highfields partially reopened for children in years 6,1, reception and nursery from Monday 8th June 2020. Pupils in the remaining years returned partially from Monday 22nd June 2020.

Tours of school during lockdown
