Saturday 19th September 2015 was the annual Collingham Agricultural Show and Ploughing Match where we had our usual pitch next to the Dog Show. It was a glorious sunny day and lovely to be able to talk to so many people, in particular a number of past pupils. To keep children amused we ran our world record breaking challenges of sand shifting, chopsticks and hama beads and Mr Potato Head with our Top Gear-style leader board to log the highest scores. This was Mr Thomson’s first show at the Highfields tent and a lot of people were keen to meet him. Thank you to those members of staff who were able to give up their Saturday to help. It was a great success and we had a number of new enquiries about places in Nursery and for September 2016.
