Carols at Christmas – a celebration

Barnbygate Methodist Church was ringing to the beautiful sound of music and children’s voices in our Celebration of Christmas on Monday evening.  The church was packed and we were treated to some wonderful choral solos and instrumental ensembles including a lively medley of Christmas songs performed by Pre-Prep and choral speaking from Forms 5 and 6. Other highlights included string group performing Deck the Halls, a flute solo from Lauren, Walking in the Air by choir and Good King Wenceslas by band. The whole congregation was Dreaming of a White Christmas by the end of the evening and we finished with another blast of Shakin’ Stevens thanks to Mr Thomson!  The church was rocking!  Thanks were offered by Rev Al Harvey. Well done to our Head Boy Sam and Head Girl Kitty for leading the service and to Form 6 for the prayers.

Merry Christmas everyone.
