On Wednesday 20th June, Forms 1 and 2 enjoyed a very successful Canal Boat trip. Before leaving school we discussed with the children the important issues of safety around water. Then on our walk into Newark town centre the children were happy to point out and spot features of the local environment, we even had chance to visit the castle grounds before setting sail aboard The Sonning. During our trip along the River Trent the children had to spot a number of different natural and man-made objects. They also enjoyed an ice cream or ice lolly. We were so proud of all the children and their behaviour and enjoyment of the trip. Well done all!
