Bee Netball

Last Monday our U9 girls tried out some Bee Netball (a new England netball initiative to encourage participation) against Ranby. The Year 3 girls teamed up and played brilliantly against the Ranby B team. They adapted quickly to changes in play and Mollie scored two excellent goals – unfortunately one was disallowed so the final score-line was 2-1 to Ranby.

On the other court, the Year 4 girls started off with Bee Netball and then switched to Hi5. All girls showed good adaptation into their positions after each rotation, but the Ranby A team were a little slicker in their passing, giving them the win.

Overall, it was great for all our girls to be given the chance to play in a competitive netball fixture and we were really pleased with the skills being shown in game play – well done everyone!
